Default Easy to make BGBS and carrot mold

Take two 2 in. wide alumin 12 in. long, clamp side by side drill 1/16 holes 1/2 in. apart in between the two pieces almost to the botton. Then file a small indent rest of the way for air to go out. You can drill a 1/8 or more hole 5/8 in. deep. With a cheap injector, inject plastic into holes. Then take out and dip the bait into remainder of liquid plastic or dip another color. Useing tweezers if dipped nearly all the way will be a carrot. if half way a BGBS. When dipped in plastic quickly dip in water. Also drill two holes on side put nails to line up the mold. With practice looks as good as any bait.

Does sound like a good cheap mold to build. Would love to see some pictures of the mold and baits you have using it.Thumbs Up

Never put pictures on before, hope they turn out okay. Shinnie ones striaght out of mold, rest was dip, sometimes same color, other with different color. Some were cut off before dipping to make a smaller bait. They can be dip more times to make a bigger head. Little mold was drill bigger and needs no dipping, but I like to dip small ones to get a two tone look. These are the only baits I used. we caught over 3,000 last spring with these. Five of them were 17 inches long.
