Default I poured THAT THANG lure

Finally got the molds from ndjones last week. Been trying to do a better job of heating plastic in the microwave without burning it. Poured the mold, trimmed the lure when cool, put stick on eyes and redipped in clear plastic. The large ones are 1 3/4 inch. (Crappies) The small ones are 3/4 inch. ('Gills) I am open for any suggestions. Thanks again to G for spotting these molds in the classified ads and notifying me. I think a fish might bite it.

they look terrific ship I'm glad that you are having fun I'm sure that you will really enjoy working with the plastic in the mold the more that you work with the plastic the better you will get in the future you will have to learn by trial and error on the flat molds I think pouring them would be a little bit of a pain because you have to be so careful if I was going to do it on the flat molds I would probably use a syringe or something small that you can shoot a fine stream of plastic you can take some of the molds that I have and do this with without shooting them is a you injection mold some of them you can use either way that I have their are plenty of these molds out there ship if you look in some of the craft magazines or catalogs you will see a whole list I believe that lurecraft has a ton of them it is a good source for buying supplies also we do by quite a bit of stuff to work with from them we definitely use their coloring for sure also glitter they also have injectors or injection molding they do have a few molds for injection molding also besides the flat molds .

I bet it will not be long and you will be buying a injector and your first injection mold.

Lookin Good Ship-Like the stick on eyes, what size are you using?
I've used that mold many moons and it will catch the crappie, even the 3/4" one. Have started pouring two color on some, black body pink tail looks good. Little tough on the smaller ones but good on the larger one. Would post pics if more computer talented. A small pair of good scissors works good to trim overflow.
Looks like the plastic bugs got you, The rubber thru the body is nice. Fun for sure and will take time away from the jig tying.
