I was thinking about bluegills today guys and just remembered I had an old mold from crazy angler in the shop so I thought I would shoot some of them today to see what they would look like again they are very awesome looking in person these are 1" in a course you would have to use a very small jig head with them no bark collar on the soccer it would take a straight shank jig head only the body is fairly small but anyway I thought I would show this one to you guys we use chartreuse with some fine glitter.

I've used that mold many moons and it will catch the crappie, even the 3/4" one. Have started pouring two color on some, black body pink tail looks good. Little tough on the smaller ones but good on the larger one. Would post pics if more computer talented. The rubber thru the body is nice. Fun for sure and will take time away from the jig tying.
The eyes are 3/16. I am still playing around with the concepts. May try two tones next week.

ok. Got to build up my nerve to try something different and then step out on faith. Blame Snake River and "G" for getting me interested into trying soft plastice and then encouraging the old man by saying "They are good enough for a fish to bite." Well Sheeskalambooskaandbygollywow the fish love the lure especially when I pour garlic and anise into the plastic while melting it. Old man is just having fun. I will never be a professional like Keith Pace or Bob Hinkle, but I am having fun pouring plastic, tying jigs and making teardrop ice flies. Not too bad for the old man.
