Yeah thats it. I don't pour my own baits but I can't find that exact bait color made anywhere. The last batch of them I bought was from a company in the northeast US. That company has since went out of business. Does anybody know anybody that sells that exact color or would be able to put together an order for me. I know some companies will run special colors at a bulk price. I just don't know any of those companies off hand. Its a confidence bait for me that works tremendously well. I'm starting to run out of the initial 1000 that I purchased years ago and am trying to get something in line for when I need more.

    Thanks,

    Bittle

Bittle, try posting it on the main board if you have not already to see if anyone knows where they can get some for you and mail them to you, or someone may have some they no longer use and can work out a deal for you. You never know until you ask. Here is another thing you might try, the two cavity mold is like 39 dollars, you might consider buyig someone who does plastics the mold in exchange for about 500 of the baits, it is just a suggestion. I am just trying to help you out. I do not fish that bait or I would get the mold and make some. Good luck in your search.

Lucky Strike makes them and they're sold at Wal-Mart. BPS carries them too.

Gene Larew makes them. Might know them as Bobby garland.

Bobby Garland has changed their swimming minnow and added a little paddle to the tail. I just got these this week:

They were a great sand bass before, and I don't imagine this new tail will hurt anything. If anything, I'm thinking it could be killer on the fall. Depending on how much time we spend in Norman (GO OU!) I'm hoping to test 'em out this weekend, will report back if I do.

Its not that I can't find that type of bait. I know Bobby Garland makes some and Luck E Strike makes a close match also. My biggest problem is finding that exact color. That solid grey hasn't been produced around here for a long time.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Yah, that definitely isn't a Bobby Garland color. It looks to have the same base as their Smokin Joe Bleedding Blue Shad, but without the glitter. Don't guess I've ever seen that one, sorry.

you might check with baitman and see if he has a mold like that, I am sure he can match the color if he does
