    Default Made my first plastic

After reading so much from everyone else I had to give it a try. Here's what I came up with.

Made the master from 2 differant size of plastic coat hangers. Then some JB weld for filler.

A friend of mine works in a dental lab so I got some material they use to mold false teeth.

    Final result.

Now I need to go to the neighbors pool and try it out to see what action it has.

good job and way to get started. I started out similar to that but quickly moved on into injection molds. You will only get better and better. Just keep it up.

Like the idea of making it yourself....Final product doesnt look bad at all..If you do a search back theres a post that someone did the same thing and made something that sorta resembled a tad pole.

Looks like it will fish. I have never made a mold or poured plastic either. Never made anything out of soft plastic but I do like to use them. My favorites are the 2" split tail shined minnow and the stinger shad types. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys. Had fun making this. Plus it kept me in the garage out of the wifes hair. Plan on playing around with some colors and shapes.
