    Default Bass bit Bob's Icicle

I snuck away to Neely Henry Lake this morning for a few hours to fish from the bank. The Crappies still were not hitting. Got some nice bream and this two pound bass who thought he was a crappie because he hit Bob's icicle. (Tipped with a crappie nibble on a 1/16th sickle hook jig)

2.3 lbs. Not bad for shore fishing about 2 foot deep David.

Too much heat for shore fishing for Crappies. Late September or early October they should be putting on the feedback.

Neeely Henry Lake Is about 90 minutes from my home near Gadsden AL where Weiss Lake (Crappie capitol of the world) is located. By the way David, the white stuff on my chin is because I am bald on the top of my head. Still not too bad for almost reaching 4 years from 70 years old.
