    Default Jilly Jelly Fever

It was a miserable day today and my knee was really aching. I treated myself to some home therapy by fixin up some more Jilly Jelly Jigs (See Photo) and then made some more Sexy Lady jigs like I did a few years ago.(Photo from 2 years ago)

I get my Jilly Jelly grub bodies from Snake River and thread neck hackle through them. They are fish catching mama's. I am aching to get out and go fishing with my pastor and have results like the last time we went out. (Photo from my cell phone)

I have cabin fever big time.

Sounds like fun David. Have yourself a ball. Save a few for me when I get my knees healthy again.

you guys are making me feel guilty. I feel like I should go out and start making plastic baits we probably will hear pretty darn quick. We just got everything pretty well settled down and after this coming week. Maybe we will get back into it. We have a new mold coming. The crappie dancer coming this week to replace the other one bear baits is replacing the other one it was defective so I'm really proud of them. To do this, we are anxious to make up some of those. I think they will be a good bait. I hope you guys have a good fishing trip coming up. I haven't got out yet and don't know if I will this year and all we are getting action on property so I may have to bailout it here this summer. I would love to get into a new home before winter.

You taught me about using a needle to thread the hackle. The jelly jigs are very slippery and I stuck myself a time or two. May have to use forceps or something to hold it while I work. If I can help, let me know.

I hope "G" catches a ton of Crappie on the Alabama state line. He will probably post photos that will blow your mind. The south has huge Crappie here. That is just how it is.

ship, how do you get the hackle to stay in those jigs when you thread the hook through them. I made up some like that one time and it pushed the hackle back down when I put the hook in. I did not fool with it much, just tried it a time or two and decided it wasnt worth the hassle. Maybe I did not try hard enough and gave up too soon.
