    Default Hey JeepGuyJames

    James,

I received your jigheads in the mail today. They look like they have 30-50 pound test line super glued on and trimmed at an angle. Is that how you and Herb make them? I sure appreciate them and will try them this Friday.

Be blessed. Your pm box is full.

@ SHIP.....cool glad you got them....the weed guard is a plastic or some kind of polymar fiber....I think the way it works is the hook & the weed guard is laid in the mold then the lead is poured....making the weed guard & the hook part of the head in a solid piece....but I dont make jig heads ( or any other lures yet ) so im not 100% positive....but Im fairly sure thats how it works....we usually have a month and half of ice here that bores me to death....I think this winter I may look in to tying or pouring just to keep the cabin fever away......

@ SNAKE....here is a few of the heads NIGHTPROWLER makes, the ones with the gold hooks and the white bristle guard is what I use 99% of the time http://www.crappie.com/crappie/spons...jigs-more.html

felllas we have had the wettest month ever recorded this month, everythings flooding around here, its nuts....hopefully can get out and fish here before to long....even if its in less than idea conditions.....hope everyone had a great resurrection sunday......have a great one all, God bless!!!!

Like Ship, we have some really bad storms that will be moving in here tonight and will be with us Tues and Wed.......this will definately muddy the water up and know the bite off......as soon as the water clears, I will give them a try.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
