    I have a friend from Indiana that moved down here about 14 years ago......he will tell you that he was not born in the south but he got here as fast as he could, lol.

    G, these particular ones he said that nobody fishes much at all. He said you have to cross private property to fish these and most people wont battle the land owners. He said something about they are open to the public but you have to use a creek or something to access them or something like that if I understood him correctly. So if I picked up on what he was saying right, that not much fishing goes on there and so therefore it is loaded with fish. I have not seen any of the pictures of the crappie from there, but I have seen pictures of some bass, and they were very nice size fish. You make me jealous with your nice pond though. I sure wish I had one. Let me ask you this, is it a nesting ground for mosquitos real bad? I thought of a small one on my property but not sure.

    I have no mosquito problem....I mow and weed eat all around the pond to the water....keep it very clean....the bluegills and shellcrackers do the rest, Lol.
