sweet looking pond, you need to let me clean all those gills out for you and put them in my freezer. I would love to have a pond like that. I only hve about 4 acres of land, so I do not think I will put a small pond on it. If I had the money to buy the adjoining land I woud have a pond.

G where does the water come from for your pond I believe that your country is just as beautiful it is ours I kind of like the looks of where you live I would imagine you have lots of critters like possum raccoons and Fox maybe even a coyote ,

Yep got all those critters for sure.....The water comes from rain Bob.......There are several acres of land that drain rain water into my pond. I do have a over flow spillway and I have it screened off so fish will not go out the spillway.

The pond never goes dry, It is 14 feet deep out in front of the dam........the most water it ever loses on a extra hot dry summer is only two feet. I have 5 ponds on my farm

Yeah, fish one each day of the week and then go to the big lakes like Grenada on the weekend. Glad your boat is coming along nicely. Slab will be impressed especially after having such miserable weather and being shore bound while he was here. We both had rain suits at the ready but the crappies were deeper than we could cast from shore. There was no boat to rent either. Be sure to use Bob's jigs and Slab sauce when you fish with Ed. I have a feeling your nets will break from all the fish.
