    Default Oil

One thing I forgot to order was anise or some kind of lube. What is the rule with that stuff? do You apply it to the bag or when You are heating Plastic? How much do You put in? Is there any unscented? Help a dummy out. Thanks.CF

if you're looking for a oil to put on your plastic baits go to the grocery store and get yourself a can of Pam after you get through making your baits put some on them if you like . Usually I do not put any oil on my plastic baits. Your plastic baits in the bag for a while will get oil all by their self it least with the plastic that I use. This is what happens.

You can get regular worm oil from most all of the suppliers.
If you want to make sure U do not damage UR plastic I would suggest that route.
It is generaly used to help in packing ... I apply a little to the bag and then slide
in the baits .... For scents I add to the Worm oil (Oil of Anise is hard to beat)
DO NOT USE MINERAL OIL .... and there are a few other oils that will destroy ur baits.

    Hope that helps a little

I use anise oil but you can use cod liver oil from the grocery store too. To me the scent does not really help, some people swear by it. I jsut add a little to the bag. You can cook it in as long as it is pure oil but it takes a lot of it that way.

I cook some in and also put some in the bags to help lube them up. You will figure it out the more you play with it
