Thanks for the compliments! Supposed to get a hell of a storm this weekend, gonna put a damper on ice production if we get too much snow.

I started tying jigs. About the same age. We are 63 now that is a lot a years behind us and I enjoyed every minute of it. Do you remember the first jig heads that you tied on you. One of laughed at what I had they were the common jig heads at all. They were something like a round flat pill . That's back when we had herders which I wish we still had but we use to order stuff from them to tidy up the jigs . I wonder how many of us guys remember herders. In they used to have a ton of stuff. We can even buy dye to do our own feathers. Those were the days. That was a sportsman's Bible to get my herders catalog.

Do remember Herters (spelling?) catalog . . . boy was it huge with about anything you wanted. Wish I had kept one. A guy I worked with swore by their hair cream.
Remember they did alot of equip. test archery, firearms and fishing. Had many different mounts of game from all over the world. Never heard what happened to the company on there mounts. Always wondered if Cabelas on BPS got some of them.
