Frank, would you be so kind as to lift the griddle up and show exactly what it looks like and maybe tell us where we can find something like that. It would be much appreciated.

It hold the temp up there for a while but at times you will still have to put it back in the micro. On the injector look for the one called twinjector. A really nice unit with locking tips so they dont fall off in the cups. As you can see in the video it is a breeze to clean out. My go to single injector is Ricks new one. It too has a tip that locks on and the tip is a taper so it will fit his molds and pretty much all others. Frank
