To say Grenada is the home of 4 pound crappie is a stretch, is a 3 pounder possible anytime you hit the water, yes, even in the summer time. I live on the back side of Grenada and live just as close to Enid lake where there was actually a 4 pounder caught last year and Enid also holds the national white crappie record.

PS: Last year I personally caught 4 over 3 pounds, this year I don't think I had one over 3, closest was a 2.99 weighed in at the Crappie Masters tourney.
