Awesome site. You all have got me fired up on this crappie condos. I built three out of bambo today. I can't seem to find any bamboo larger than your index finger. Hope they work just as good! Good luck fishing!

I get mine on the side of county roads....
The county loves for you to get em because they have to trim them back from the roadway if nobody cuts em down.......



You need to build some stick condos..... boy do they produce crappie....

Yea, I seen some of the stick condos on here. It's a sure thing, I will build some. Nice Condos.

I really like the sticks in a bucket. Where do you find hardwood slats like that?

I get the stakes from a company that makes all kind of wood trim.... it is mostly hardwood.....
The sticks are 16' long, 1" x 1" and they bundle them up for loading....
They load em for me and the best part is they are FREE....



Here is a load ready to go to the lake..... they are real easy to put out.... the plastic buckets keep from scratching up your boat and I use the handles to load and unload...

I put out 6 of the bambo condos yesterday, man they looked owesome on my depth finder! Can't wait to fish'em. The water temp at my lake (Pat Mayes) is only 53-54 degrees and the fish are very slow at bite. We are catching lot's of smaller fish in the creeks though so it won't be long.
