sounds like littering to me. i can understand putting structure in the lakes but i would love to see it be biodegradable at least. just seems that putting plastics in the waters would make them awfully nasty after a while.

Fella told me today that you can get a box of CHEAP trash bags, put a brick or a shovel of sand/dirt/gravel in each bag. Tie a knot in it then "split" the left over part of the bag in a buch of strips. Toss them all in the water and it makes a great weedbed. Anybody ever do this??

Like ice bags they are responsible for motors being burned up when they get wrapped around the water intake.
I think the mistake a lot of us make is thinking the state-appointed shrink is our friend.
This is not a good idea! Silt will settle on the trash bags and they will just wind up clumped up on the bottom.
