    Well without cover you will not have as many fish to troll for. Also baits don't hang much on stakebeds the way I build them . You'll catch more trolling past cover most of the time.

    Default natural and functional

    I dont like the idea of sinking plastics and what not either but here in Ca almost no one sinks cover. If i hit the lake with a boat load of xmas trees id probably be arrested. I like the idea of wood epically larger wood that will hold up over time as well as house crayfish and insects , not just be cover. I saw one pic on here a while back of a slew that went dry and there were pvc structures, kind of made it look like a garbage dump.
