I was just sitting here reading posts and looking at pics of the cane in a bucket. So my question to all is will my idea work. I thought about taking one of these big red cattle mineral tubs that are about 2.5ft around and 2ft deep and making me a structure out of it. I was going to cut me 6-8 cedars that are about 7ft tall and place them around the inside of the tub and let them lean outwards and place a larger cedar in the middle standing straight up. I would then take and put rocks in the bottom of the tub and folow it with a bag or two of quickcrete. I know this sounds heavy but if I could get it out and in the water would it work?? THANKS

build you a slide if you don't have anything in the front of the boat out of 2x4's set the monster on it proably about 8' long when you get to the lake pick up the part thats in the middle of the boat and let it slide out the nose.
I think it would be an awesome brushpile but if I saw something like that driving down the highway I would have to pull over and stare. I'm like the other guys you may get a hernia trying something that big. I like the way you think though.
something no one else told u is u need to drive some big nails all the way around each cedar at the base to make sure they stay in the concrete.,or u can drill a hole all the way through the butt end thats going in the concrete and put a piece of rebar in it so it doesnt work its way lose
Probably want to thin out the limbs first. I would cut rings out so the larger fish could get in there and ambush baitfish.
