Taking Jerry Blake's design and modifing it to my fit my own needs, I found this to be one of the easiest structures to create and put out around our boathouse.

I used two cinder blocks to increase the weight for ski boat traffic and to raise the bamboo up some so that crappie could move underneath to escape the summer sun ............next year (it was 35 degrees here today).

A couple of blocks, 8 pieces of bamboo 10' in length, a little rope and made six of these in a couple of hours. Hopefully next spring they will attract some prespawn and spawning crappie.

This would be a great application for anyone wanting structure in 6 to 8 feet of water. Each one ended up being 16' long when it was all together.
