Default A Few of our Beds

A friend, hotmod, and I have been building some stake beds the last few weeks. One of local lakes has been over 30 ' low for the last several years and have not been able to even launch a boat in the last 4 years.
The last few weeks we have almost gotten our annual rain fall and the lake has risen over 12 feet in that time frame. It has very little natural cover so we went to work. These are a few of what we sunk last weekend.Hopefully by next weekend they will be gathering some moss and maybe a few fish !!!

Cali, I wish we had gotten a better pic of whats past that fence. Its waist high cotton in full boll,as far as the eye can see ..In less than two weeks the foliage will be gone and nothing but a sea of white to be seen !!

That Cotton is ready to strip at this time, they are stripping some irrigated about a mile up the road from this patch. This that you see is dryland & I would guess it to be a bale & a half + per acre.

We need to build about as many more of the stakebeds as shown in the pic.

I think we may go give them a test fishing Sunday. I hope my new side image makes it in Friday so I can get it installed to get a good look at these things.
Will get a pic if I learn enough about the unit.
