I've been seeing a lot of threads on the taking condos out but was wondering if any of you get any grief about dropping them into the waters. The lakes and reservoirs around MD are either county owned or owned by a public utility company. I haven't tried taking a structure out, but would like to once the season opens here. Thanks for your comments

I put 10 big condos out in a county lake. The people said it would be fine and thanked me for building and putting them out. only think they said was just remember if other people fish them to not say any thing to them like " I put them out they are mine to fish"
"when they go in the water they are for anyone to fish". I said no problem. I never seen anyone fish them but I don't go there often.

I have never caught flack for the ones I have sunk. Some people have asked for me to sink some in front of their docks. That scares the hell out of me. If a child would jump off the dock and hit the pvc........ So I don't put them arounds docks.

main thing is to make sure you have permission first.. 99% of time someone may not say something but if wrong person catches you (dnr) without permission they can give you tickets in most states.. i would check rules and regs for your state also...

and if your gonna do it do it when noone is around so less chance of an issue and never put in main boat traffic canal
