Weve been using weedless jighead for years.I use them almost exclusivley when fish brushpiles. The only thing I dont like about commercially made weedless is they have too small of a hook.I bought a mold years ago from do-it and make our own 1/16 oz to 1/8 oz weedless.

His name is Paul Mullins - (Grousefly is his User ID name)
He can be reached by email - [email protected]
He can also be reached by PM (he's a member, under that user ID)
He can be reached by phone ... 606-642-3167

He can make them in several weights - hook sizes - hook colors - painted or unpainted - etc.
He sells the weedless ones pictured (unpainted), to Crappie.com members for $0.25 each (for any number under 100) and $20 per hundred (if buying in bulk).
He fills orders on a first come basis, so there may be a period of time before receiving your order ... but, it's worth it

Contact him, tell him I sent ya (or refer him to this post), and tell him what you're looking for. Not sure ... then, just for reference - those jigheads in the picture are 1/16oz with #2 gold hooks. I also have some in 1/32 & 1/16oz with #4 bronze hooks - 1/32oz with #2 gold hooks - 1/32 & 1/16oz with #2 red hooks. They all work fine (and I still have most of them :D :D )

    .... cp

You take a toilet tank float and drill holes in it with a uni-bit. This is a cone shaped bit that allows you to drill multiple size holes with one bit. I drill them to the 3/4 size hole. Take 1/2 pvc pipe and cut off some 2" pieces . Glue the 2" pieces into 1/2 " pvc couplings. Just stick the coupling with the short nipple in the hole and glue in with hot glue. I can get 17 of these in a standard tank float. There is a piece that sticks off the ball that is made to thread onto the rod in your toilet, use this to attach your wire and brick to sink it. I tried to attach a picture of one to my original post but it didn't work.
