    I've done the screw method with PVC when putting it in the concrete. I was thinking of driving a few nails into the end of the wood to help it hold.

    VERY NICE....that's ALOT of VERY BENEFICIAL work!
    We're starting to get alot of people in our area donating Osage Orange wood (Hedge Apple)....hopefully we can turn it is to a nice quantity of cover, like you've done!
