Tracker33 I plan to do the same thing to a lake I primarily fish up here. I bought the center piece offline and purchased the PVC pipes from Home Depot and I sanded them for quicker algae growth. I will drop 6 of them this Friday. Hopefully they produce for me.

we put in pvc and wood, and the pvc took quite a while to start producing,, but when it does it will last forever, but the wood is cheap and faster.....good luck with yours.....
