I'm gonna borrow UR Idea if you don't mind??? I've got some 3/4 and 2" polyethelyne pipe left over from a job that should work quite well. How are you mouting the smaller pipes? I was thinking I could use my fusion tool and tac it.....

My duct fits fairly tight, so if I let them hang down, I don't have to do anything else. If I point the limbs up, I either glue them or put a screw through them. The fusion tool sounds like it should work. I haven't built very many of these so far, usually just branch them out of a bucket of concrete like the bed above. Just thought I'd try something different.

The smaller duct is 1.75" & the bigger is around 5" in diameter.

Here's another design I've tried for shallow water, it's 30" high and 10' by 10'.

Well done! I like the combination.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

My little lake is max 30ft deep and averages 15 to 20 feet, shore depth is 5 feet dropping to 10 feet.

No real creeks or natural points sticking out into the lake, so I'm wondering where and how deep to put my structures and pots .

    Lake is about 20 acres.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I'm the only person trying to improve this manmade lake. The bottom is pool table flat.

You first have to determine where the fish are in different periods of their cycle, where do they go after the spawn, during summer, then in the Fall and Winter.
You can put spawn beds, stake beds, laydown trees, etc along the shorelines to protect fry, minnows, and smaller fish.
Then if you find that the thermocline sets up at 20 feet in the summer and that is the only time you fish, then don't put any cover below that unless fish use the deeper depths in the Winter. If you fish all year long, you can start adding cover shallow, then add to the deeper depths as you go!

Also, if may suggest, in a "bowl' type body of water without any significant structure (creek beds, steep or gradual drop offs, ect) determine the WINDWARD shoreline. Fish will normally face into the wind if there is no other prominant features. Place the cover in lines, shallow to deep, 8-15 per line with about 50- 80` between lines. If possible put natural denser cover shallower and PVC deeper...good luck!

BTW, is it a natural lake? Is weet cover present? ARE THERE underwater SPRINGS PRESENT? (HINT! HINT! HINT!)**** As you fish the lake tie a thermometer to the anchor line about 2` from the eyelet. When you up anchor retrieve it quickly and check it. If it reads 56-60F degrees GPS that spot IMMEDIATELY. JACKPOT!
