Thread: Dropping Structure? {Illinois}

Who do I talk to see if you can drop structure into Lakes in Illinois?....I have never heard for sure what the answer is......

I know your not allowed to at Lake Shelbyville. Find out who manages the lake you are wanting to place structure in. People still place structure in lakes that they are not allowed to. The question is are you willing to pay the price if you get caught. I'm not sure what the fines are. What part of Illinois do you call home Jeremy?

If It Is A Corp Of Engineer Lake Ask Them. Usually It Depends
On The Person You Talk To. Most Dont Really Care But They
Dont Want To Be On Record Saying Cover Is Ok If The Official
Policy Says No.

Check with the DNR.. I don't think you can but not positive. Then
it depends if it is a private lake.. I have a couple private lakes I
fish in that you don't need a license to fish..
