In secret spots and parts unknown.....with 10ft diameter on each I should be able to build a nice crappie nest for the pre and post spawn.

When the housing market gets back to going, I'll have all the 3/4 inch PVC pipe I can handle from new house construction leftovers

are you going to use the cement blocks for anchors?? I watched russ bailey and company put some together and they just used a couple reg bricks and put a tee on the bottom pole to secure them on - it was a lil shorter than the others if I remember right.
Yea the blocks ate zip tied to the bottom half of the ball and ill only utilize half of the design this way. But it allows me to put them in shallower water and the block will stand up to a little current.

I put some out 4 years. I have retreived a couple of them. They came apart at the seam in the ball. the ball is a 2 part cast which is glued together.. I am putting the balls back together with screws and try again. I don't know if the problem was caused by aging or by chain draggers. PIA recovering them too.
Just to share.

I actually snagged one and pulled it to the surface with 6lb line. Before the line broke I could see a brick tied to the ball.
