Thread: Catfish Stew recipes?

Anyone have a good one? I have a friend that is catching a lot of catfish now. He says they are getting tired of having it fried all the time & want to try a catfish stew but can't find a good recipe. Might trade him some recipes for a catfishing trip. :D

we cook a catfish courtbouillon in La. (pronounced coo-bee-yon)

i did a quick search for it and this webpage came up with whats looks to be a good recipe for it...serve it over white rice.....only thing i'd add to his recipe would be a can of campbells cream of mushroom soup
