Snakebit caused a bug to lodge in my ear over those fried green tomatoes. Well the recent wind coming in off the Gulf due to that disturbance blew most of my tomatoes over knocking off several hard green ones. I didn't salt first just fried as He did and they were fine eating.

So the rundown, out the gate Boiled Crabs, fat, heavy, and almost too full to get the meat out. From there we moved to fried Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp, more of Bon Temp's Eggplant, the fried Green Tomatoes, and a couple of very Jumbo Crappie fillets. Dipped the tomatoes & eggplant in a little Catalina dressing, the shrimp in a little Rémoulade, and ate the Crappie as is. Now I must cut grass, think the lawnmower will be forgiving? I just may fall asleep while driving.
