Well my wife decided to cook pancakes on the iron griddle for a change and instantly I was back in Gattlinburg, Tn eating pancakes at a favorite restaurant. It was the iron that added the unique flavor you just don't get any other way. Ketchn is correct once again (he should be tired of it by now, right?) pan frying in iron is the only way to go.
thanks for the kind words , but we use them mostly due to the ease and simplicity , they do tend to give food a boost in the flavor dept. and to be sure we leave a big one on the big burner with a bacon press and a small one on the small burner. There is a lost art to learning how to cook with one , they will cook for a long time well after you turn off the burner ,,,,tip 1 .....
