what leftovers????? The more I make the more I eat man I love crappie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I fry them again (just enough to completely heat them) and eat them. I learned this from a girl who worked at a local sea food restraunt. They would have all you could eat and when you wanted some more they would quickly bring some more to youir table. I asked her how they cooked it so quickly and she confided to me that they just reheated by re-frying.
They make great samiches!! With Miracle Whip, sharp cheddar cheese and into the microwave for about 30 sec.
usually aren't any leftovers here either lol. 5 kids + 2 adults if any left over wont last over 1-2 hrs later like they do with frog legs.
No one mentioned what I believe to be the best way to heat up the left overs.
Put the fillets on a broiler pan or metal pan and place under the broiler until the fish shows the oil on the fillet starting to bubble real good. They will be as near to the original as is possible.
Microwaving fish makes them tough and not crisp, and re-frying soaks up too much oil.

Left over Crappie is intentional. To get to eat them they must be hidden in refrig.
Unwrap tinfoil quickly, look around to see if coast is clear. Rewrap, then nonchantly ease out the door and eat and grin.
