Thread: Boiled Bream, If you like shrimp Try it

If you like boiled shrimp you will love boiled bream, just boil them just like shrimp and dip in cocktail sauce
or use shrimp boil. Crappie will come apart but bream will stay firm.

I use to make poormans shrimp for my son when he was little.

Bring water to a boil and drop a few pieces of bluegill in at a time. (just so you don't drop the water temp to quick)

3-4 mins should do it. Remove and place on a paper towel to remove excess water. Pop them into the fridge to chill.

Mix up some cocktail sauce and enjoy. Works well with bluegill, rockbass and perch.
