    Only way I have had the critter was skined seasoned on the grill.Assuming a rattler.While living in TEXAS

    Take out the backstrap, egg wash , flour, season, fry it up!!
    Works good on rattlers! That's the only kind I have ate. It is good.

    WHO in their right mind would think of snake for dinner? I know, I know, people eat them but as for me my only receipe is a 12 ga. shotgun.

    ok now follow closely. Place snake on a cedar shake. Season with a good cajun seasoning, salt,pepper. Place on grill at around 350-400 for 45 minutes. Remove from heat, throw snake in trash place some ketchup on board and chow down.
