    Liptwister....Thats exactly the way we do it. It is some kinda good with them golden brown pieces of crappie and some steak cut potatoes,deep fried with the peel still on 'em!!! WoooooWeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Whoa. I never even thought about doing this. Too bad fresh corn is now out of season... might still be able to pick some up somewhere I suppose.

    I read this on here awhile back, and thought it would be good. My Wife said no thanks.......well we were fry up some crappie Saturday night, and I pulled 3 ears of corn out, breaded them in the same cornmeal base I did the fish in, let them fry for until golden, Oh my God!!!!! They were good!! I think it will be a more common item with our fillets now! :D
