Twas the eve before my big trip, and all through the house,
the family was sleeping, except for me and a mouse.
I sat in the kitchen, with tackle at hand,
with thoughts a big crappie,I would soon land.
i sorted each lure,by color and size,
while visions of bluegill, danced in my eyes.
Each rod was placed,on the table with care,
reels were all filled, with a few feet to spare.
my eyes became heavy,As I climbed Up the stairs,
my wife she was snoring, with rollers in hair.
I set the alarm, before daybreak to wake,
time to go over, what gear I would take.
All of a sudden,I heard such a clatter,
I jumped from the bed,to see what was the matter.
I peered through the window, and there In the yard,
Lit by a streetlight, sat a box with a card.
I threw open the door, and I ran to the curb,
not a soul was in sight, not a sound could be heard.
I picked up the package,to the house I did dash,
to open the package,of my new Fle Fly stash.
There on the table,I opened it up,
a box overflowing with new Fle Fly stuff.
Go Go minnows, and some soft plastic baits
Different sizes and colors,All I will take.
a new crappie gauge,to measure my catch,
a red Fle Fly cap, will look good on my head.
some fish attractant, two flavors they make,
bubblegum,and a garlic,both I will take.
I pull out a T shirt,I proudly shall wear,
a few crappie kickers, don't ask me to share.
Bendable spoons,I can't wait to try,
Their action unique,can be customized.
I hear the alarm,but I won't be late,
ive been up all night, sorting tackle to take.
As I pull from the driveway,I offer this thought,
if you fish with some Fle Fly,many fish will be caught.
