Illinois 2014 Crappie Camp Picture Story

Billbob arrives in his new RV and claims his territory as he plants the Crappie.com flag.


I still stay in a tent with Abbey. Ted snores too loud!


We needed a campfire Friday night. It was quite cold. In fact, it hailed that day, and enough collected to have a snowball fight.

Kallee's mom and Cropy42 made the Friday night food that night like they did last year. Thanks, the burger that was twice the size of the bun was awesome.


Abbey was cold the next morning when we went fishing. I'm about to launch Billbobs boat with his new RV. I tell you, launching a boat with this behemoth ain't exactly easy.


The fishing was good. We only fished for maybe 3 hours max and we caught 13 Crappie plus about a half dozen of other species. Nothing real big, but sure had a lot of action.



Now if that don't beat all, a gewber catching a Crappie using a goober! Custom jigs by ScottV!


Oh oh, Abbey see's a friend, Bammbamm and Bowbenter too! lol


Abbey met Bammbamm at last years camp when he was just a little puppy. Now he's a big puppy.

Here's Billbob appeasing his fans, signing autographs. Hey, how come I pay for the Billbob koozies, he signs them, charges $5 a signature, and I get nothing! Hmmm, somethings wrong with this picture.


Same great band we had last year. Bluegrass music really got everyone going. It seems Billbob forgot his dancing shoes, so we did not get any dancing pics this year.


Wow, what a great bunch of prizes.


Wally Marshall provided a ton of rod and reel combos, so many that each of the girls won one.
