"Whisker fishin" with Nimrod

Pouring down rain at 4:30 a.m. today when I left headed for Nimrod to meet up with Nimrod to do a little "whisker fishin". When I pulled into the ramp, he already had the boat in the water and the umbrella up on the boat and was ready to go. The rain stopped just at that time and we shoved off headed for one of the famed "Nimrod catfish holes"! For the next few hours, the catfishing was as good as it gets. We even could be selective in what we put in the box! Here are a few photos of the trip. Nimrod is a good "net man" as you can see from one of the photos of my catch! All in all it was a great day on the water, and some of the "funnest" fishing this old man has ever done. If you guys ever get a chance to fish with "the man", you oughta book a trip with him, and I promise you will never regret it. Thanks, C.A., for another great catfishing trip!
