My last trip for 2025 was spent on the lower end, chasing my super fluke bite. From sunrise until 0900 it was fairly decent then died off. I ran a few places staying hard headed with the fluke and not having much luck. Late in the day, I switched to a shadow rap and caught a couple. I then threw a lucky craft lightening pointer for the first time and caught a nice walleye on the second cast. On my way back to Coffman I threw the pointer on a wind blown bank and had a white bass bonanza with a nice wiper mixed in. I broke a mojo bass catching the walleye so it paid the ultimate price and I'm paying $60 for a warranty replacement.
