July full moon is known as the “Buck Moon” as this is when male deer begin growing their antlers; I know it as the last spawn for bluegill on Lake George. The fish are smaller then the may and June fish but are extremely plentiful and aggressive. G-baby and I fished 3 mornings straight throwing Bobby Garland itty bit slab slayers tipped with crappie nibbles and caught over 100 fish each trip. We both used Daiwa Presso Air UL rods paired with Shimano Soare size 500 reels and I_Fish BG-1 jigs.

    Great memories and good groceries.
