• Recycled jig

When I fished Saturday I caught two bass that ate my bluegills swallowing them so cut the line leaving jig in them. Yesterday I fished same small lake and caught another gill eater. This one had my jig coming out of his rear end from the previous trip with jig completely out except for the hook. Should have taken pic with jig still in. Win win for both of us. Got jig back although paint was chipped and hook appears tarnished. Originally was a bronze hook. Did catch a nice cracker later, nice 11" female.

wonder how long before the hook would have rusted out and helped the fish drop the added weight ?

      Well that was certainly different.
