After I had my limit we went back to cabin and both days my back was barking at me. had this trouble ever since February when I fished suson pond in STL which had a concrete area where I fished and it gets bad quickly. I took Aleve and sat in recliner with good lumbar support and sent ben out to a new place about 6 miles away to get some minnows as they needed something to spark ketchn.
I dropped them off at lakeside while I went to a local strip pit I know of to see if anything happening there. FINALLY with the minnows they caught a dozen as sometimes in this area that's the ticket tho I don't have much of an issue. Meanwhile I did well on this softer dirt bank along pit and picked up a dozen nice ones. those are the ones Bymo is holding up on stringer.
BTW we tried to go to another part of lake but when we got out wind was HOWLING out of WEST and you couldn't stand on dock or bank. So we went back to first place as it's out of the wind more.
Of course since bymo was here the wind for first two days was straight out of East. We call it the byford effect but I caught anyway.
good day overall but man my back was killing me!
