Decent Trip Yesterday

Had a friend invite me to make a trip for some shallow water fish that he was hoping were on the bank. Although we caught 5 or 6 in 4' of water suspended on a submerged tree, we caught the majority of them in less than a foot of water under a cork. He had a blue/white/silver hair jig, and I had a 1/64 oz trout magnet, nickel head with a black/chartreuse Big Bite, Triple Tail, so it seemed like it didn't matter what color. Seemed like most were males guarding the bed. I had to make an hour and a half drive to get there, but it surely was worth it.
