Managed to get out for a few hours this morning before the N winds started to blow on the Big G. Didn't slay them, but there were a few around willing to bite. Fish were 7-10 feet deep. Using BG blue ice and glacier on 1/16th with 1/24 above that throwing a double rig. The grass floating under the causeway made it a tough outing as well. Visibility was about 3' and water was stained. Did not have a temp, guess I should have asked the guys in boats going by. There was a lot of bass boat traffic on the lake today. Also managed a 4 lbs and 2 1/2 lbs bass, always fun on 4 lbs test and a crappie rod!! As you can see by the eggs, they are not ready and have a ways to go. Ratio was 5 females to one male, all good solid fish 12-14" and very fat. Wind got up and it was time to go with all the grass blowing thru the hole.
