First slab of 2025.

Crappie in my home lake are in the move to spawning site. I actually found some last week but didn’t take any picture, a lot of 12” and just a couple of 14”. They are still hanging tight to cover not wide spread aggressive. I think a couple more weeks the big mama should be everywhere and more willingly to bite. Anyhow a picture of biggest one tonight. All released for good healthy spawning. Btw air temp around 40-45 and cold like hell for me SoCaler.
