Got out for a rare trip with my son. Perfect weather, cloudy and cool with a breeze. Fished a small lake and fish were active and biting for me. He was using bass gear while I was using the ultralight. I caught a decent redear on first cast while he went through my tackle bag trying to find something that would interest the bass. Only thing bass were interested in were the bluegill I was reeling in. Had three bass hooked that grabbed my gills and landed one. My son got pics of the bass jumping which was really cool, didn't even know he was taking pictures. Even caught three channels on my little jigs besides everything else. He did finally catch a bass after going back to the plastic worm I had on to start the day.
Great post! Great pictures too. My Pop always loved the Catfish with the black spots on them. Once I took him squirrel hunting by boat, when I returned to the boat he was fishing off the back in the swamp and had our drink cooler full of those catfish. That's a Hungry Bass Bud!
