• On Bayou Lacombe

Got my boat back together after adding some new electronics and since its been 14 days since I had been on the water we launched at Main St. on Sunday at 8:30 am. Water temp was 84 at the launch and we immediately caught a few not 100 yards from the launch. Hit several spots but most were caught at 2 good recruiting spots. Fish were not deep and most big ones were schooled together and chasing clouds of shad away from the structure. Ended up putting 33 in the cooler and threw back about that many tacos. Fish caught today on BG Baby Shad Chrome and Pan Fish Assassin baby shad various colors.
Got hot by 11 am sot we put it on the trailer by noon. Water temp at the launch air noon was up to 91 F.

He was on fish feeding on shad. I suggested adding a crankbait rod to his offering for the bigger fish under the bait schools. Bon Temps is really turning on, happy to see another fellow get snagged by a Crappie Hook. Once a Crappie Chaser - Always a Crappie Chaser............
