Ed,
This grub is little larger then our other crappie grub. It is 2 1/8” long and weighs about 1/16oz. It can be cast, trolled, or vertical jigged. Crappie, Bass (especially smallmouth and spotted bass), and other fish have been caught on this grub. Fished Martin Lake in lower Alabama this week with friends and caught about 70 crappie. We caught most by casting to bank around trees and stick ups. Later we trolled a creek and caught crappie this way also. The water temperature was from 54 to 56 degrees. We were using spin cast reels and 4lb & 6lb line. This has very good tail movement while swimming. It seems that some of the bigger crappie hit this grub.
Thanks..Charlie Brewer
Sounds like a real good grub. I like that it's big. Like he says, should catch the bigger Crappie real good. Here are some cool pictures Charlie included in his email to me.
