Terry and I went fishing with Danny today on the River Beautiful. We only saw one other boat on the river the whole day (an airboat). It was so peacrful and beautiful. We saw three huge gators that were a good 10 feet and possibly larger than 12 (hard to tell for sure) and a few smaller ones. Caught lots of fish thanks to Danny leading the way and showing us around and sharing some tips that work well in that area. Danny caught the majority of the fish. We had lots of laughs and just an all around awesome day.

Ended the day with 15 Crappie, 8 Warmouth, 1 redbreast and 1 black bass. Threw back and or lost various shad, gar, crappie, and perch.

Yes we are lucky to have so many beautiful lakes, rivers, natural springs, bays and more all around Florida. Even better is that we have met so many wonderful people from this forum that have shared with us so many of these special places. We agree the fish are just a bonus.... A great bonus but the days we don't catch any are just as much fun.
