• West Point Crappie

It’s been awhile since I’ve been on my favorite lake and it was like a homecoming for me. I went expecting to find fish on deep water timber in a summertime pattern. What I found was a few fish in deep timber in 35fow and more fish still on brushpiles in 12fow. It would’ve been easy to fill the livewell both days but I left biting fish looking for those Big Ol Hand Kandys! Water Temps were 83deg and fish bit well until midday and then got finicky. So get on the water early and take a kid fishing.

No other words for those, genuine studs!! Great fish. I like the early thing too. It’s done well for me too many times.
