• Beautiful fall day

So of course I had to go fishing. Had to do wife maintenance so couldn't head to cabin but LSL only 30 minutes away.

Great day to get pontoon out so Decided to hit some docks. Usual suspects produced couple dinks so parked my toon and walked some other ones. Hit a mixed bag of dinks, sunfish and bass which was fun. Then while wandering around big one thumped my jig and it was on!. Lost that one wrapped around something but got serious.

In one small area I caught a dozen keepers 9 to 11 inchers and tossed several dinks back and lost another big one! Had tiny jig on one pole and hooked and saw several more keepers but they got off.

All in all great day! Have to take advantage of these as don't know many we have left. Plus came back to slip and two couple friends were there and really excited when I told them I would clean them and deliver FRESH filets for dinner. Had nice ride with one couple and then cleaned ketch. Kept one bag for Kathy and I.

    Plus full moon rising shot.

JUST when I find a true go to dock wiht good fish on it? dang CA drops the lake, which was already down a few feet even more and got one more good bunch before..... then the lower some more and get one LAST good ketch and now it's on the bottom. DOH

On a lake that you predominantly fish docks, it is very frustrating. Just when I was out and the crappie pulled me back in NOW THIS!
